Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to its lustful desires. Do not let any part of your body become a tool of wickedness, to be used for sinning. Instead, give yourselves completely to God since you have been given a new life. And use your whole body as a tool to do what is right for the Glory of God. (Romans 6:12-13 NLT)

When we wake up in the morning, and get ready to walk out into this world, we are confronted with a choice. As Paul thinks of it, both God and sin are looking for a tool to use. You see, if God needs a word spoken, a deed done, a person cheered up, encouraged or helped, He has got to get someone to do it. Yet, it is the same with sin. Sin is also looking for a tool. Here is the key…we have a choice. We can either yield ourselves as tools for God to use; or we can yield ourselves as tools for sin.

Each day, God wants us to yield, or present ourselves to Him to be used as He sees fit. Lord, I am yours; My family is yours; My job is yours; My business is yours; Everything I am or ever want to be is yours. Sin will not have dominion over me, because I am going to yield to what God wants me to be.

Today, we have a choice. Let’s presents ourselves as a tool to do what is right for the Glory of God.
